Nevada
Nevada is located next to California close to the West coast. Despite that the two states do not seem to have a lot in common. Nevada mainly consists of mountains and desert - and once of gold and silver, which made it very popular during the 19th century. However, today, the state is mostly known for the metropolitan area of Las Vegas and the Hoover dam on its border to Arizona.
